Today, I’m so excited to introduce you to Colleen and Pablo! This adorable, fun couple and I met up in the Freemason District of Norfolk VA for their waterfront engagement session. And, we had a GREAT time. I loved getting to know them, their love story, and actually meeting them in person. It’s always the best part of the process for me. Getting to know my couples and their story is such a beautiful part of being a wedding photographer. Shout out to my cousin who referred Colleen and Pablo to me, I’m so thankful! They’re so wonderful and I’m thrilled I get to be their photographer for this special time in their lives.
Engagement in the Freemason District of Norfolk VA
We decided to have their engagement session in the Freemason District of Norfolk. It’s a gorgeous little area that’s got the perfect combination of historical charm and waterfront views. Colleen and Pablo shared more of their love story while we were together in Norfolk. As they told me their story is a “Tinder success story!”, which neither can truly believe. They never imagined they’d marry the person they swiped right on, but I think it’s safe to say… they couldn’t imagine it any other way now! You can see how much they love each other and it’s just SO special to witness.
Pablo serves in our military and he and Colleen told me they spend time together curled up on the couch and dreaming of what their future holds. They love looking at homes in the areas he could work and planning adventures. I think it’s super sweet and sounds like a perfect evening to me!! When they talked about what they love about one another, it was clear to see that they complete and compliment each other well.
